The Legend Of “The HomeWork Show"

HomeWork Productions & Sound Design was created back in December 2000 in Cambridge, MA., but it wasn't always just an audio production service...

The "HomeWork Show" Story
Once upon a time, there was a radio show called "The HomeWork Show" which began as a live call-in home repair program. The show was hosted by Two Knotty Studs, Mark Barbadoro, contractor and house builder extraordinaire, and Dennis, who also produced, wrote and mixed the show. We had help from Al Avery as our Technical Director and the lovely Vivienne Lucas-Barbadoro was our Two Knotty Studs Business Affairs Manager.

The program had over a year long successful run on WMBR 88.1 FM in Cambridge, MA. before Dennis was called back into public radio service by Marketplace Productions (Minnesota Public Radio's / American Public Media’s business news program) in Los Angeles, CA. by late 2002.

Dennis eventually began working as a full time private contractor & consultant and took on the name HomeWork Productions & Sound Design to honor the legacy of The HomeWork Show.

Rest assured Dennis and Mark still share a commitment to The HomeWork Show eventually making it back onto the public radio air-ways! In the meantime, you can still enjoy The HomeWork Show’s earlier incarnation by listening to the show's program audio here!
